Get
Curious...

The words ‘Get Curious‘ are a key training phrase in mindfulness. It’s an invitation to just allow our present moment difficulties and with a gentle breath to look deeply into them with curiosity and self-care rather than to resist or avoid them.

In my two-year training to become a mindfulness meditation teacher, I’ve reached the Practicum where we take what we’ve been learning as well as how to teach it and try doing it in the real world. My second series of introductory classes titled Experiencing the Beauty within will begin this Sept in a live online format. Two different sections will be available: Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings.
One thing I learned from the first series I taught in June was to allow more time for meditation practice together in class.   This allows more of both the deeper settling and the struggle to happen with beginner students and that can help them really ‘get it’ and also to have more questions come up for them to ask about.
This is important because the goal is to get comfortable enough with meditation to develop a habit of practice that can be done regularly. That’s the only way that the benefits can be there for you in working with what comes up day to day in Life.

I hope you will give it a try and join us and also suggest this beginner series to a friend who might also be interested!
